Mokoena pulled out of the squad for the tournament in January after he was replaced as captain by previous coach Ted Dumitru.
He said he had refused to play under the veteran Romanian because of the way he was replaced as captain in a vote instituted by the coach before Mokoena had had a chance to join up with his teammates in early January.
Mokoena, 25, has won 55 caps for his country, 14 of them as captain.
