Aaron Neville (born January 24, 1941 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is an American soul and RandB singer.
Aaron is the third of the four famous Neville Brothers (Aaron, Charles, Cyril and Art Neville) of New Orleans.
Aaron has recorded a dozen solo albums ranging in genre from gospel to country and is noted for his unusual vibrato singing style, which he says was inspired by Gene Autry's yodelling.

Neville states: "When I was a kid I would rock on my Grandmother’s lap and listen with her to the old spiritual stations on the radio.
Aaron Neville was born in 1941 in New Orleans, raised in a poor housing complex, the the notorious Calliope Projects, raised with his three brothers, all talented in their own right.
Aaron began recording in his early 20's, but it was 1967 before he gained first national recognition with his album and its title song, "Tell It Like It Is".

Aaron Neville had wanted to record a Christmas album virtually from the time he first heard Nat King Cole's classic, "The Christmas Song".
Neville's album combines the dreamy romanticism of classic Christmas albums by Cole and Johnny Mathis with some highly individual touches, including the frisky, Cajun-flavored "Louisiana Christmas Day" (written by Jim Cox, who plays keyboards on the album).
Much of the album was cut live, with Neville's lead vocals being cut simultaneously with the rhythm section and the orchestra.
