Aayla Secura then landed and helped out with the battle.
In case Felucia would fall into the Republic's hands, she had pumps full of natural toxic chemicals to release into Felucia to give the Republic a "deadly prize." Jedi Barriss Offee and padawan Zonder were sent to capture Mai, but failed.
Commander Bly, Lt. Galle, and Aayla Secura, along with padawans Ekria and Drake'Logaan led the elite Star Corps to Felucia to rescue an abducted Offee.

A Rutian Twi'lek born to an influential clan on Ryloth, Aayla Secura was apprenticed to Quinlan Vos at a young age and raised as a Jedi.

 Star Wars Action Figure Reviews
This Revenge of the Sith Aayla Secura figure is a good example of this contrast, with her somewhat neutral pose.
Aayla Secura has fourteen points of articulation: ball-jointed neck, ball-jointed shoulders, right arm bicep-cut, wrist cuts, ball-jointed midsection, waist, hips, ball-jointed knees, and ball-jointed ankles.
Out of all the ROTS Jedi figures so far, Aayla is the only one that has ball-jointed ankles, and that makes a ton of difference when combined with the ball-jointed knees.

Aayla had a dangerous brush with the dark side of the Force in her youth when she suffered a memory wipe at the hands of the scheming drug baron, Pol Secura, who happened to also be Aalylas uncle.
Aayla, terrified by her dark act, fled Ryloth, and hid from pursuing Jedi.
Secura would then lead her own squad of Clone Troopers into the thick of the battle in the desertified plains of Geonosis, her lightsaber shimmering in the billowing dust, forming a glowing beacon for the Republic's cloned infantrymen to follow.

Instead, over the last few days I've spent quite a bit of time with Aayla Secura Jedi Knight, trying my damnedest to divorce myself from the expectations I had for this figure, and form some new opinions, based on this figure itself, and not what I had hoped it to be.
Aayla Secura is not as detailed as Ephant Mon Jabba's Head of Security, nor as polished as Barriss Offee Luminara Unduli's Padawan.
To clarify: Aayla does not have standard waist movement, rather her torso is articulated at the chest, allowing her to not only turn from side to side, but lean left and right as well.

 Tholme - Star Wars
To complete her training as a Jedi, Aayla was reassigned to Tholme, as having her continue as Quinlan's Padawan was seen as too risky, in light of both nearly falling to the dark side.
Tholme and Aayla were sent to mediate the troubles on Ryloth that were brought about by the death of Pol Secura.
Vos and Secura helped Tholme escape the planet with Nat Secura, and he was present at the ceremony that made his former Padawans a Jedi Knight and Jedi Master respectively.

 Dark Blue
The graceful blue Twi'lek female Aayla Secura, onetime Jedi Padawan of Master Quinlan Vos, once very nearly killed her Kiffar mentor while both were still suffering from the effects of a memory wipe.
Her uncle, glitteryll smuggling figure Pol Secura, had erased their memories to protect his interests, keeping his unknowing niece as insurance against Jedi reprisals and for his use as an ignorant, cold-blooded enforcer.
Soon, Aayla hopes to take the trials and emerge a full-fledged Jedi Knight, but she still shows impatience and anger stemming from the theft of her memories and her dabbling in the dark side -- which, Master Yoda bluntly says, is the reason she is still a Padawan.

Fortunately, Ostrander doesn't lose sight of the focus of this story, and this story is more about how Aayla Secura learns and grows as a result of a battle during the Clone War rather than how a battle in the Clone War is decided.
Certainly the revelations about the similarities between Aayla and Aurra Sing, whether it was for the first time here or just a reminder, makes for an interesting conflict, and I'm grateful for any story that can deliver a pretty solid lightsaber duel.
The names on this book are not unfamiliar to me. Ostrander and Duursema worked on a lot of stuff together at DC during my earlier comics-reading years, and I have a fondness for that work.
