Aberfoyle (Scottish Gaelic: Obar Phuill) is a village in the region of Stirling, Scotland, 27 miles northwest of Glasgow.
Aberfoyle describes itself as 'The Gateway to the Trossachs', and is well situated for visitors to access attractions such as Loch Lomond and Inchmahome Priory at the Lake of Menteith.
Aberfoyle is also part of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.

 Huge Amounts Human Waste Being Sprayed On Farm Land In Ontario
Hundreds of millions of litres of recycled human waste will be dumped on rural land this year, and that volume is on such a precipitous rise that residents are worried the province's bucolic backyard is fast becoming its outhouse.
The CDC report said that workers involved in the handling or spreading of sludge "may be exposed to disease-causing organisms" including E. coli, salmonella, shigella, campylobacter, cryptosporidium, giardia and viruses, protozoa and parasitic worms.
Ontario's rural residents are getting wise to the risks in their community.

Trillium is back in communication with us again, and it seems that he is still (or again?) in the area of Aberfoyle, Ontario.
After spending the past week in the area west of Hamilton, Trillium has moved back north to the Campbellville area again, and is quite close to where he was two full weeks ago on his first trip out of Toronto.
Today Mark Nash and I, along with Mark Heaton and Pud Hunter of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources inspected Trillium, and concluded that he was indeed back to full health.
