		Abhorrance recorded and released the debut EP entitled Lowering The Spirits of a Narcissistic Superhero on indie label Unfun Records in 2002.
		Abhorrance is not only one of the tightest, sickest bands around in the whole Metalcore/Hardcore genre, but this record tops every other Hardcore record i've heard.
		Abhorrance is simply off the hook and to pass up buying this record for a mere sixbucks is ridiculusly stupid.

		The four songs on their UnFun records release "Lowering The Spirits Of A Narcissistic Superhero" are chock full of thrash-till-you-bleed riffs that could only come from southern CA via New York hardcore.

		On its Empty Inside demo, Abhorrance's juvenile leanings get my vote, but people will always rent Terms of Endearment over Cabin Boy (see Blockbuster, America's Rental Habits, 1998).
		Guitarists Pat and Brandon must not have paid any attention to the red warning lights on the inputs during recording--their guitar work is grinding.

		We met a drummer named Sam who played a few shows with us and recorded our demo with us, and then proceeded to fall off the face of the earth.

		In any event, on realease we had only one instanced raid - Lab of Lord Vyemm, plus a couple of contested raid zones that seem out of reach for a small semi-hardcore raid guild such as ourselves.
		But now - a step in the right direction - Lyceum of Abhorrance.
		There was bound to be bugs on realease and the inability to actually zone a raid in to the zone was the first hurdle guilds had in entering this mysterious zone.

		In 1993, I was asked by Rob Sandoval, (see Obscurity below) formerly the guitarist of Obscurity and in later years, La Muda, to play bass for Abhorrance.
		They had deceided to break up, and the bass player/frontman had joined another group, but they were offered a gig with Death, the premiere death metal band of the day.
