US vs Iran - Armchair General Forums
Despite its junior status, the Revolutionary Guards air force may eventually supplant the regular air force as the dominant air service as a result of its access to funding, its active recruitment of the best graduates from technical degree-granting programs, and the rising influence of Revolutionary Guards–affiliated politicians, such as President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
By contrast, the regular air force has struggled to compensate for the loss of growing numbers of experienced technical personnel and aircrews to retirement; it has responded by pooling the existing technicians into centralized task forces.
Air and ground superiority would be achieved, but tactical surprises could produce costly losses.

The sum of the testimony seemed to exonerate Abrams or any higher officers of complicity in Lavelle's misdeeds; it also illuminated the baffling technology of the war and provided a classic case study of a bureaucracy warped to serve a devious purpose.
To understand Lavelle's case, it is necessary first to understand the regulations governing the air war that he inherited when he arrived in Saigon to take command of the Seventh Air Force in August of last year.

It is hoped that the brief discussions of a few works of painting, sculpture, and crafts will encourage teachers who are not necessarily trained in either studio or art history, to feel comfortable presenting Latin American works in their classes to enable students to improve their artistic skills.
Another objective of this lesson is to introduce the students to a useful and attractive craft that is a living part of the tradition of several Latin American countries.
These papier-m‰ché crafts are often time consuming and messy, but are worthwhile because of the creative possibilities, and because they are excellent as a small group project.
