Abyaneh is a beautiful historic village at the foot of Karkass mountain 70 km to the southeast of Kashan and 40 km to Natanz.
No matter how well-educated a person from Abyaneh might be, he or she puts on the traditional Abyaneh costume on coming back to the village from anywhere in Iran.
The Abyaneh woman is unseparably attached to her wedding gown inherited from her mother, and is expected to pass it on to her daughter.

TEHRAN, July 5 (MNA) -- The Abyaneh Anthropology Museum was officially inaugurated on Monday in the small village near the city of Natanz in Isfahan Province, Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization (CHTO) Research Center Director Mohammad Beheshti announced on Tuesday.
Abyaneh is a village of living traditions, unique architectural styles, and one of the most interesting examples of human adaptation to nature.
Regional costumes, agricultural equipment, paraphernalia used in local ceremonies, photos of religious events, and an exhibit on Ashura, which is the mourning ceremony for Imam Hussein (AS), are currently on display at the museum.

The homes are built from mud brick and adobe, the people were friendly and donkeys are still the main form of transportation.
