  Acacia Lodge #586 - Waynesboro, Pennsylvania
Our founding brethren of Acacia Lodge No. 586 recognized a local need to satisfy their desire for social fellowship and to create a more fraternal atmosphere among the 35 or so Masons residing in Waynesboro.
The fact that the Lodges were so widely separated throughout the surrounding area, and the mode of transportation restricted as it was in those times, made concourse with one another impracticable.
Below this was the word Acacia in pink azaleas, and underneath this was the number of the Lodge 586 set in field daisies.

  HISTORY OF THE GRAND LODGE OF ALBERTA
Bow River Lodge No. 28 G.R.M. was called on to sponsor yet another Masonic Lodge in the district of Alberta and the Grand Lodge of Manitoba granted a dispensation to Edmonton Lodge No. 53 on October 20, 1892 with W.Bro.C.W. Sutter, formerly of Saskatchewan Lodge No. 17, as the first Worshipful Master.
The Lodge was instituted on October 4, 1902 and the Charter of Wetaskiwin Lodge No. 83 G.R.M. was granted on June 12, 1903.
The institution of Brooks Lodge No. 73 preceded that of Coronation for it was held on January 2, 1913 with the constitution being held on June 24, 1913.

 Woodlawn Lodge No. 672, Aliquippa, Pennsylvania 15001 - Famous Masons
Anderson, Rev. James D.D. On September 29, 1721 he was directed by the Grand Lodge of England to "digest the old Gothic Constitutions in a new and better method." The first edition of the Constitutions, including the Charges of a Freemason, was published in 1723, with a second edition in 1738.
He was active in establishing Lodges, a Grand Lodge Chapter and Grand Chapter, in the city of Mexico in 1825, being assisted by the Hon.
He was raised to the Sublime degree of Master Mason on May 18, 1951 in Columbia Lodge No. 3, F. &.A.M., of Washington, D.C., as a courtesy for Malta Lodge No. 465, F. of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Grand Lodge of Virginia laid the cornerstone of the George Washington monument in Richmond, Virginia.
The lodge was not permitted to reassemble because of strict regulation resulting from the fire in the Iroquois Theater.
Meeting held at Alexandria, Virginia, February 22, resulted in the George Washington Masonic National Memorial Association being formed and the adoption of a resolution to erect a memorial to George Washington.

 Acacia Fraternity | Centennial Moments
This look at each of the Founding Fathers of Acacia shows that in many respects they were not much different than the Acacians of today — some went on to great prominence, others fell through the cracks and some died too early.
Although Harlan Rowe served as Acacia's first National President — and helped install many of the early chapters — information about his life after Acacia is somewhat limited, as he lived predominately in Europe at a time when communication wasn't easy.
He was the last surviving Founding Father of Acacia, and was bestowed the title of Honorary National President of Acacia Fraternity at the 1968 Conclave.
