		Jump5 returns to the CCM dance-pop ranks with Accelerate, and though it isn't the "quantum leap forward" its liner notes suggest, it's a skillfully executed, cunningly cheerful album that prevails by embracing its own predictability.
		In actuality, Accelerate is just an S Club 7 album minus two members and Bradley's bad rapping.
		Accelerate works because it doesn't hide its happiness and genuine zest for life amidst mixed pop music messages.

	Accelerate - Jump5
		Accelerate, produced again by Mark Hammond (Avalon, Nichole Nordeman), is still extremely glossy pop geared primarily to 7-to-14-year-olds, but they have added electric guitar effects to the mix like their contemporaries.
		Accelerate also features a bevy of cover songs, opening with Michelle Tumes' 2000 single "Do Ya." This song about unconditional love despite our personal quirks was deemed a bit sophomoric for Tumes in those days, when she was still perceived as a sophisticated songwriter before turning to more of a pop repertoire.
		The album is a typically short 34 minutes in length—typical in that the group and record label are turning out a little at a time, but at increased regularity.

		And what a killer album it is: 14 songs of furious metalcore/grindcore/death metal with killer riffs, cool vocals and some midtempo or even doom metal parts ("pathological narcism", "summary executioner") to prevent the album from getting boring.
		Aardschok magazine wasn't very positive about this album in their review becuse of the average production quality and the vocal style which should be too brutal for melodic fl metal lovers and too melodic for fans of brutal fl metal.
		In fact this is not a new album from this Russian band but a re-release of their 2000 "Songs of the eternal oak" album and their 2001 "Spirit tending to revolt" demo.

		This album is kinda oldschool compared to the new dark/minimal stuff...
		I really don't know why Spirit Zone is releasing this, it sounds so outdated, and Spirit Zone has been going in such a great direction with Funt D and Spirallianz and the singles by Martian and Sangeet and Necton.
		The album is really nice.....songs are well blended but the voice samples and singing is really hideous...it has some very good parts too....

		“Accelerate” is a spiky piece of bouncy pop, pure ‘n’ simple.
		There’s a cool film clip for “Accelerate” as part of the deal too, shot on the band’s recent US tour, in which John Lydon evenb plays a cameo.
		This is the third EP for the band, which was formerly known as Porcelain.

		After an indulgent prologue, encouraging the listener to "unlock the sound of pure drum and bass fantasy", the mix unfolds to the deceptive ambience of the Cartridge track End Of The World.
		As the beats fly in and the contemplative nature of the track disappears, it's time to fasten the seat belts for the cutting bass of Break's Accelerate.
		Dieselboy's attention to melody and/or rhythm ensures the mix is always on the move, and even when it descends into more industrial, noise based tracks in the middle there is usually something to hold the listener captive.

		Even if CoverFlow by now has found covers to most of my albums (say, less than 10 are missing) it still continously uses around 50% cpu on a 1.33ghz powerbook.
		It should only take a second or two per album, after which the thread should sit in sleep mode waiting for any new textures...

		DJ Dan's steady mix CD output continued in 2004 with Accelerate, this one released by Kinkybeat rather than Moonshine or Kinetic.
		The mix disc is much more worthwhile, another hour-plus of the carefree, feel-good house music synonymous with DJ Dan's mixes over the years.
		While Accelerate doesn't stand out among DJ Dan's numerous mixes, the snazzy packaging and bonus disc aside, it's not necessarily a disappointment either, unless you consider more of the same a disappointment.

		There is a very repetitive melody and the track certainly does a great job of taking the album from hard trance to more pumping hard trance.
		BK & James Lawson - The Storm is definitely the most pumping track on this album that we have encountered so far.
		This is certainly a very unusual piece, but with no doubt draws a very high paced album to a close.

		I too, wish that Coverflow had a quickkey/command that would zap to the currently playing album, and as a (resizeable) screensaver it would be cool to see the albums rotate thru as if you were browsing.
		If you single click on an album that is currently already in the front, it would flip around and show all the tracks on the back like how the Jewelcase plug-in does it.
		All I ask for are two small changes: – For some reason, while CoverFlow recognizes all my songs and albums, it cannot create playlists from songs with Hebrew letters in their names… too sad, it makes the majority of my library useless.
