A common misconception is that a gun can "go off" accidentally, where in truth, such gun accidents are extremely rare, and most gun injuries are caused by intentional acts that create the hazard of injury (i.e., pulling the trigger of a loaded gun).

This movie confirms that I'm not the only one who believed that their winning the Pulitzer Prize was nothing more than a lucky fluke.

This is a movie that isn't afraid to discuss very controversial attitudes about racial and ethnic issues in blunt terms, although it ultimately takes the necessary high road towards decency and humanity (even if it does follow a somewhat unrealistic path).

The accidents were perfectly executed and made the worst that could happen, happen, which is hilarious and creates suspense.

This movie was OK for an evening at home but I'd have been horrified if I'd paid $7 to see it at the theater.
It is an average movie "inspired" by the death of one of the world's most beloved figures, then goes on to mimic the actions of one of America's greatest get even flims.

A Conversation about Frida, the Movie
Then, at 18, she was in a life-threatening bus accident that caused breaks in her spinal cord, right leg and foot and other parts of her body, resulting in continuous pain and physical problems throughout much of her life, despite undergoing more than 30 operations.
One thing that disturbed me, even before the accident scene was that although she had polio at age six, that fact was completely erased in the film.
It appears to me that she has the accident, next we see her in the body cast, we see a lot of suffering for perhaps several months and then she's up and running, almost as though she has resumed her nondisabled status, pretty much until the last half hour or so of the film.

The inevitable movie version of the Nickelodeon cartoon that since 1999 has featured the undersea adolescent adventures of sea sponge SpongeBob SquarePants, his buddy Patrick (a starfish) and peevish neighbor Squidward (yes, a squid) revolves around SpongeBob's job as a fry cook at the Krusty Krab burger joint run by, naturally, Mr.
Following a needless live-action opening of pirates discovering a "treasure" of tickets to the SpongeBob movie, hardly five minutes pass without an underpants gag, followed shortly by Patrick's ill-fated tribute to SpongeBob's anticipated promotion to manager of The Krusty Krab II by gliding into a crowd sporting a flag wedged between his buttocks.
But in the movie, series creator Stephen Hillenburg (who directed the movie and was one of six writers) is much less subtle and dilutes the humor for the show's substantial older (relatively speaking) crowd.

I caught this movie by accident at a neighborhood theater, and was pleasantly surprised to discover that good old Amy Heckerling had remade one of my favorites, The Apartment, with a dash of Ridgemont High added here and there.
It was like every other teen movie out there, with Jason Biggs as the loveable loser, and Mena Suvari playing the vixen-like Dora, who has her own individual taste in clothes - and is sleeping with her college professor.
The movie is also very nineties, with the 'Loser' sign (making your fingers into an L, and holding it against your forehead, as shown on cover) which just about everyone does at some point during the movie.
