BBC NEWS | Africa | Do riots achieve anything?
Riots achieve a lot and that is the language politicians do understand in parts of Africa, even though it's not the best because it destroys a lot of things and millions would have to be spent to replace them back.
Riots are a result of desperation, and unavoidable when people feel oppressed and see no solution to their plight.
Riots are not the answer to achieve a positive result, sadly those who riot, do not know any better nor have the ability or capability to make change for themselves.
