		One Piece is one of my absolute favorite mangas, and in my opinion, the best shonen action manga ever written/drawn.
		One Piece began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1997, and has been collected in 35 volumes so far, as well as 2 supplementary data books.
		One Piece has great characters, a real sense of fun and playfulness, and tons of humor, but that doesn't stop it from being incredibly dramatic and moving at times.

		Well I've only seen the first 45 or so episodes of One Piece and I've seen all of evangelion, and since FT got to vote even though she's only seen a couple OP episodes I think it would be fair for me to vote as well even though I haven't seen Ace in action.
		Misato was never close to being a favorite Eva character, and Ace is one of my favorite characters from One Piece (thus making him an all-time favorite overall).

		Captain Smoker (スモーカー大佐 Sumōkā Taisa), known in the English anime as Chaser, is a fictional Naval officer from the anime and manga series One Piece.
		Because of this power, Monkey D. Luffy, main character of One Piece, refers to him as the one person he cannot fight, due to the fact that Smoker cannot be physically harmed thanks to his Moku-Moku powers.
		Smoker tracks Luffy all the way to Alabasta, where he meets the second pirate to ever escape his clutches: Portgas D. Ace, Luffy's older brother.
