		Ace were a British rock music band who enjoyed moderate success in the 1970s.
		Ace were popular on the pub rock circuit.
		The band eventually moved to America, and replaced Phil Harris with Jon Woodhead in 1976.

	Ace of Hearts Records - Mission of Burma
		Swope, who had worked with Miller in bands around their hometown of Ann Arbor, MI, added tape loops and sonic manipulations (from a visually unobtrusive position behind the soundboard) that often left audiences wondering how the trio on stage were creating the sounds that they were hearing.
		In April 1982, the band released their second 7" single, "Trem Two" b/w "OK/No Way," the aside of which also appeared on the VS. LP, which followed in October of that year.
		Their final shows in March 1983 were recorded, and in 1985 Ace Of Hearts compiled and released THE HORRIBLE TRUTH ABOUT BURMA, a document of otherwise unreleased songs that fully captured the glorious, roaring sound and bewildering chaos that characterized the Burma live experience.

		Granted, none of the 12 tracks on the group’s debut This Band Makes Me Feel are startlingly unique, and for the most part, the ensemble combines infectious pop melodies, tight-knit harmonies, and crunchy, ’70s-era, stadium rock in a manner that recalls Cheap Trick, Grand Funk Railroad, Deep Purple, ZZ Top, and strangely enough, Phish.
		In short, Schools and Mize sound as if they are having more fun together than either has experienced in recent years with his day job, and while Acetate’s songs unquestionably are rather innocuous, they also are destined to become a guilty pleasure for many.
