Current work: (1) Monophyly and phylogenetic analysis of the family Rhombosoleidae (Pleuronectiformes); (2) taxonomic revision and phylogeny of the family Poecilopsettidae (Pleuronectiformes); (3) phylogenetic position of the Achiropsettidae (Pleuronectiformes); (4) resolution of the relationships between Poecilopsettidae and Rhombosoleidae.
I will attend the Indo-Pacific Conference in Durban in May 2001.
In the next year, a revision of the genus Poecilopsetta will be sent for publication, as well as articles on the Rhombosoleidae and Achiropsettidae.
