	War Museums - Achterhoeks Museum 1940-1945
		The "Achterhoeks Museum 1940-1945" isn't the largest museum dealing with World War II, but it does however, offer a very nice general overview of this period.
		This is supplemented by typical scenes as they could be found in the Achterhoek, which is the north-eastern region close to Arnhem.
		A lot of authentic material, which is in a good state, is shown throughout the museum.

		Respecting to the Low Saxon dialects in the Northeast part of the country, we consider it a seperate language on for historical reasons, but our African linguist would draw a similar conclusion for Netherlands Low Saxon as for Zeelandic.
		Interestingly, Ethnologue names a lot of Low Saxon dialects in the Netherlands as separate language: Veenkolonial, Twentish, Stellingwervish, Achterhoeks...
		It is ridiculous, I think, to consider them all seperate languages.

	Do you speak a dialect in your foreign language? (Multilingual families)
		I am wondering if there are others living abroad who not only speak the foreign language nearly as a native speaker, but who also speak or try to speak dialect?
		My mother tongue is German and here in the East of the Netherlands (province Gelderland, region Achterhoek) a lot of people are speaking "Achterhoeks plat" which is similar to "Münsterländer Platt".The German border is not far away.
		No help for me, because I originally come from another region and did not understand Platt at all.
