		The band began work on Achtung Baby in East Berlin with Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois producing.
		The album was intended as an additional EP to Achtung Baby, but soon Zooropa expanded into a full-fledged LP and was released in July of 1993.
		The Zooropa album was, like Achtung Baby before it, popular among people who had never been fans of U2, further expanding the fanbase and increasing the band's ability to remain popular into the 1990's and beyond.
