King Black Acid and the Starsee Transmission
But in the case of King Black Acid (KBA) the enthusiasm with which a subscriber talked about the band and their live performances was such that I immediately sought out all three of their available CD's.
But it's difficult to talk about King Black Acid in terms of the specifics of what is happening in the music, and it seems like something hasn't been properly communicated when using the standard descriptive keywords.
There is a certain mood and atmosphere King Black Acid excels at creating which does a better job than many similar bands at allowing the listener to fall into their groove and just sail along.

[King Black Acid]Loves a Long Song   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-31)
Even during the least sonorous of their infinite supply of trippy guitar solos, King Black Acid's vibe is never insipid and often surprisingly infectious: This has to be the poppiest bunch of eight-minute psychedelic excursions I've ever heard.
King Black Acid fully embrace their lineage, from their love of delay boxes to the spaced-out permutations of their name (first King Black Acid and the Wombstar Orchestra, and now King Black Acid and the Starseed Transmission), from their fey vocals to the title of their newly-released fourth album, Loves a Long Song.
King Black Acid's take on the emotion ranges from the choked and smothering desire of "I've Heard You're Still Alive" to the unexpectedly yearning and optimistic "Into the Sun." Many of these songs would be strong even if abbreviated and stripped of their galactic atmospherics.

Acid King : Zoroaster - Listen, Review and Buy at ARTISTdirect
Typically slow and suffocating, Zoroaster is a fine example Acid King's fler-than-Sabbath doom.
While Zoroaster is a fine listen, Acid King were still developing their brand of sludgy excess, and the tongue-in-cheek satanic grind might lack some their later work's commitment to the almighty riff.
New listeners might be advised to pick up later efforts that display the group in complete command of their form, but Acid King enthusiasts will instantly get it, and delight in Zoroaster's primitive conceptual guts.

Black Sabbath was a major influence on a lot of the bands who recorded for Man's Ruin in the late 1990s, and Acid King certainly doesn't escape the influence of early Sabbath on Busse Woods.

From their debut 10” to the sublime split with instro-stoners Mystick Krewe of Clearlight, Acid King have stuffed their recordings with serpentine grooves that sneak up on unsuspecting listeners and induce lethal cases of whiplash, presenting acid-drenched excursions into the the hallucinatory recesses of the human psyche, journeys from which there often is no return.
Palpably heavy, the Acid King sound is a reminder of every drug-induced trip you ever embarked upon, ushering dangerous waves of intoxicating frequencies that caress your consciousness and coax you into submission.
As excruciatingly heavy as Acid King have been their whole careers, they have always had a sophisticated sheen to their music, a soulful musicality that has made them far more listenable and approachable than many of their more uncompromisingly tuneless brethren.

Influenced by '70s album rock, most obviously Pink Floyd's astral epics, King Black Acid throws traditional popular music's time restrictions and song structures out the window in creating wistful, blissful neo-psychedelia that is as enticing as it is excessive.
King Black Acid's origins lie in Hitting Birth singer Daniel Riddle's Portland, Oregon bedroom, where he had a four-track recording project.
Soon King Black Acid and the Womb Star Orchestra was a cohesive, organic entity, renowned in the Portland area for its epic, mind-altering extra-planetary jams.

Answer : GOUT is a common type of arthritis caused by an increased concentration of uric acid, a by-product of protein metabolism in the liver.
Sudden attacks of severe joint pains occur when sharp crystals of uric acid (monosodium urates) form in the fluid surrounding a joint due to an elevated level of uric acid in the blood.

Acid King's pummeling low end attack is once again captured in the form of III, a Billy Anderson produced seven-track excursion that solidifies this San Francisco based trio's place in the annals of the stoner rock upper echelon.
Combining hypnotic guitar riffs, thunderous bass, and a never fail drum groove into a cauldron of raucously rumbling rawk, III boasts some of the most enticing and trance inducing music of the stoner rock genre.
Keeping it slow and low but exploding with bursts of dynamic radiance when need be on tracks like "War of the Mind", Acid King's latest sojourn into the void is nothing short of essential to all that worship the fuzzed out riff and all which accompanies it.

I'd always been under the impression that Stephen King was one of those doofus hacks like Tom Clancy and John Grisham.
A recurring element of King's writing is someone getting stuck in a horrible situation over which they have no control and must escape before they overwhelmed.
Here King demonstrates the influence of one of his favorite writers Richard Matheson, who wrote "The Shrinking Man" (About a man who shrinks) and "I Am Legend" (About a man who am legend) - Stories in which a character is left alone and powerless but triumphs by overcoming his fears and concentrating on survival.

I hear industrial, space ambient, out of control acid freakouts, oddball Residents styled voices, and big gloms of all these things.
There's some seriously spaced out music on here and one of the best parts is near the end when we hear what sounds like an army of flying saucers racing against multiple layers of ambient waves and drones.
The noises on board reach around much of the freaky gamut, "outsider" symphonies slithering their way under the feet of more deliberate constructions but overall the sense is of basement drug lab with all the tense nail biting and paranoia that comes along with such illegality.
