  Transformations in Andean Society
Acllas were the embodiment of the "conquered." The marriage of the aclla to Inca noblemen was a metaphor for conquest.
The domination of the acllas by the empire is symbolized in the burial rites of the secondary wives.
Although she never states outright that only acllas were victims of the capac hucha, the context in which she presents a description of the ritual and the accompanying quotes regarding the ceremonies surrounding the sacrifice of the "aclla-capacocha," Tanta Carhua, may lead the reader to assume that the ritual sacrifice was exclusive to acllas.

The Aclla seek the same End, though by separate means; let not the Tiahuanaco and ChimĂș struggle against each other so long as there remains a common foe in the Supay and goal in the wounds of the Mother.
The point is one of a three-way debate between the Aclla, the assorted missionaries and the fact-finders who run into each other in the jungles.
The missionaries wish the Aclla to repent from their 'devil worshipping' ways, the fact-finders want to know why the Aclla are different and the Aclla themselves just want to be left alone.

 women
If they were to become an aclla, which was a strictly secular occupation, they were separated from their communities of origin and house in acllawasi in the capital of each province.
By doing this, the aclla women were turned into fully conquered subjects of Cuzco because they were no longer thought of as members of their original communities (Silversblatt 1987).
Acllas, which were composed entirely of women, were important institutions in the Incan realm because they reinforced the loyalty of the subjects to the state.

house of the Acllas as a princess, and became abbess, never having submitted to the old man. The Ynca Huayna Ccapac was then married a second time, but not with such ceremonies as on his union with his first wife, to Ccoya Chimpu Runtucay.
On his return to Cuzco he came to Pocana-cancha, where he found all the Apu Curacas coming in their litters according to the privilege granted by former Yncas, and Huascar Ynca laughed at this, although he did not take away the privilege.
In this place he ordered the Acllas, of all four classes, to be brought into the open square, in the middle of all the Apu Curacas and the whole army.

One of Cusco's top two hotels, the Libertador could just as easily be called the Conquistador.
Directly across from the Inca Temple of the Sun and built on the foundations of the "Aclla Huyasi," where the Inca chieftain kept maidens, this elegant traditional hotel occupies a historic house once inhabited by none other than Francisco Pizarro.
The handsome art- and antiques-filled hotel, just 4 blocks from the Plaza de Armas, is built around a dramatic colonial courtyard marked by perfect arches, terra-cotta tiles, and a Spanish-style fountain.

Ink 19 :: Ostara: Customs, Spells and Rituals for the Rites of Spring
Another example of this is in the subchapter titled "Some Goddesses of Ostara," a grocery list of goddesses to call on during Ostara devotions.
I doubt Aclla, the Incan maiden Sun Goddess would have celebrated spring in March, since she's in the southern hemisphere, where March 21 would be the first day of fall.
Her inclusion on this list is, frankly, rather careless.
