acrylate - live at acri rock fest 2007
Luka, at that time was coming from many experiences as guitarist with bands like Gaz'i'zkape and Mode Lone (bands which does not exist anymore), but he decided to dedicate himself in playing drums.
Max, who shared with Luka the Gaz'i'zkape experience, using his voice (surely a not-pop music voice) and riding his jackson was the right choice to do.

  Ethyl Acrylate
Ethyl acrylate is a colorless liquid with a sharp, acrid odor.
Ethyl acrylate is fetotoxic at near-toxic maternal doses and has caused skeletal abnormalities in the offspring of pregnant rats fed ethyl acrylate during gestation [NLM 1991].
Before a worker is placed in a job with a potential for exposure to ethyl acrylate, a licensed health care professional should evaluate and document the worker's baseline health status with thorough medical, environmental, and occupational histories, a physical examination, and physiologic and laboratory tests appropriate for the anticipated occupational risks.

 Acrylates
Acrylates are a family of polymers, which are a type of vinyl polymer.
Acrylate monomers are esters which contain vinyl groups, that is, two carbon atoms double-bonded to each other, directly attached to the carbonyl carbon.
Poly(methyl acrylate) is a white rubber at room temperature, but poly(methyl methacrylate) is a strong, hard, and clear plastic.

Improving adhesion of acrylate resins   (Site not responding. Last check: )
Highly suitable acrylate resins are those in which from 0.5 to 60, and in particular from 0.5 to 30, mol % of the (methlacrylic groups are present in the form of Michael adducts of an amine having a primary and/or secondary amino group.
Amine-modified acrylate resins particularly suitable for the process of the invention are those which have an amine number of from 5 to 450 and preferably from 20 to 250 mg KOH/g.
The acrylate resin mixtures may be applied conventionally to substrates such as metals or plastics, examples being polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethanes etc., such as by knife coating, spraying, flow coating, or rolling.

Ethyl acrylate is a federal hazardous air pollutant and was identified as a toxic air contaminant in April 1993 under AB 2728.
Ethyl acrylate was registered for use as a pesticide; however as of December 31, 1991, it is no longer registered for pesticidal use in California (DPR, 1996).
Ethyl acrylate released to the atmosphere is expected to exist almost entirely in the gas phase based on its vapor pressure.

 Asymmetric (meth)acrylate crosslinking agents - Patent 6881858
Various acrylate and methacrylate esters are generally synthesized by the esterification of the corresponding alkanols with acrylic acid or methacrylic acid or by the transesterification of methyl methacrylate or acrylates, for example.
JP 58 29,744 describes the synthesis of methacryloyloxyethyl acrylate with a purity of 99.7% by reacting hydroxyethylacrylate with methacryloyl chloride.
Of particular interest are diethylene glycol acrylate (n=2), triethylene glycol acrylate (n=3), tetraethylene glycol acrylate (n=4), and mixtures with n=2-40, especially n=4-20, and with particular preference with an average value of n in the range of 5-10.

thermoset, photosetting acrylate polymers, polyurethane-acrylate coatings, Manufacturing News, Jobwerx.com -
The solvent-based thermoset resins used in this study consisted of a mixture of an acrylate polyol copolymer (Joncry1 510 from SC Johnson and Sons or Macrymal SM-510 from Hoescht) and a crosslinking agent which was either a methoxylated melamine (Cymel 327 from American Cyanamid Corp.) or a trifunctional isocyanate (Desmodur N75 from Bayer).
In both thermoset and photoset acrylate polymers, the HALS and HPT additives proved to be very efficient light stabilizers, as shown in Figure 5 where we have reported the relative loss of the CH group after 1400 hr QUV-B aging of TMA, TUA, and PUA clearcoats.
The UV-cured polyurethane- acrylate coatings were found to be more resistant to accelerated weathering than the melamine/acrylate thermosets currently used as automotive finishes, in particular when using a hydroxyphenyl-s- triazine UV absorber and HALS radical scavengers as light stabilizers.

Urethane acrylate compositions   (Site not responding. Last check: )
It was also found that magnetic recording media which contain such urethane acrylate resins, with their satisfactory fluidities, used as a binder have improved coating film characteristics, and as a result show excellent heat resistance, and these findings have culminated in the present invention.
Especially when the urethane acrylate resin of the present invention is used as binder to produce magnetic recording media, its improved solubility in solvents permits the resulting coating material to be applied under reduced viscosity conditions, resulting in excellent dispersibility of magnetic powder.
The inside of a 3-l four-neck flask equipped with a stirrer, thermometer and reflux condenser was filled with nitrogen gas, and 1166 g of toluene, 767 g of polybutylene adipate having a molecular weight of 1022, 67 g of 3-methyl-1,3,5-pentanetriol and 233 mg of stannous octoate as a catalyst were charged into it.
