Robotic Control and Simulation Toolkit - Actin C++ Robotics Software for Linux and Windows
Actin is a C++ software toolkit that simplifies robotic applications by providing easy access to powerful software components.
Actin takes advantage of this kinematic redundancy for robot collision avoidance, joint limitation avoidance, and minimized motion and optimized strength in robotic control.
Actin works with almost any joint type or hand type and with a virtually unlimited number of degrees of freedom and branching connections.

 Actin
Actin filaments are dynamic polymers whose ATP-driven assembly in the cell cytoplasm drives shape changes, cell locomotion and chemotactic migration.
The simulation of monomeric actin required the development of a proper force field for ATP and ADP nucleotides (parameters available by email).
In order to substantiate our back door hypothesis of actin phosphate dissociation we studied further the dissociation of the nucleotide and the role of the proposed back door pathway for actin's enzymatic activity.
