		The objective of control is to match the stress vector along a portion of the boundary to a given vector; instability suppression is achieved by choosing the given vector to be that of a reference steady flow, e.g., Blasius flow for boundary layers.
		The control mechanism used to attempt to reduce the size of the lift oscillations is the injection and suction of fluid through orifices on the surface of the cylinder.
