	Acton, Ontario - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Acton is located in south central Ontario on the Black Creek, an eventual tributary of the Credit River.
		It is served by Ontario provincial highway 7, running between Brampton and Guelph, Ontario, and is served by GO Transit bus service on the Georgetown (GO Transit) corridor.
		During this time, Acton was the main community of the Halton Hills region, much larger than nearby Georgetown, Ontario which now has more than twice the population.

		Acton is nice because it is just small enough to be a close community with a nice mix of residential, commercial and industrial so that you can live in work in the area.
		It is a typical small town in Ontario and probably the last one left in the GTA.
		The escarpment is a large elevated formation or ridge running through Ontario and along the edges are some great waterfalls (some of which we have visited).
