	Acura RSX - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The Acura RSX is a car marketed by Acura in the United States and Canada as the replacement for the Acura Integra.
		The base RSX has the K20A3 motor with a specific output of 160 hp (119 kW) and is offered with either an automatic or a five-speed manual transmission; and the Type-S has a 200 hp (2002-2004) K20A2 or 210 hp (157 kW) in 2005 K20Z1 motor and a short-throw 6 speed manual transmission.
		Despite its popularity, the RSX (as with the Integra before it) has always been seen by some as being more worthy of a Honda badge than an Acura one, and with the release of the 8th generation Honda Civic Si, this is even more apparent.

		The RSX has received a warm embrace from the Erie buying public, which is a nice way to say Contemporary sold all of their 5-speed / 6-speed cars the first day they were available.
		I was pleased to see that Acura equipped the RSX with a three-button cruise control (the "Cancel" button is often omitted in the lower models, leaving only two steering wheel mounted controls.) this is a nice touch, and gives the car an edge in my opinion.
		Acura dispensed with the availability of a four-door model in the initial conception of the RSX, and that is undoubtedly part of a demographic appeal to the youth market.

		HOWEVER as I was told; UNLESS ACURA has a recall on this, ANYTHING outside of the warranty period isn't covered UNLESS Acura has a recall.
		I've had rotors replaced, brakes replaced (which is a typical item), all of my rear lights fail and I had to have some type of master pump replaced and the list goes on and on; drivers seat belt catch, light switch stuck, OEM fog lights 3 weeks after they were installed and too much more.....
		First and last Acura, heck I even had a Mitsubishi Eclipse brand new convertible that had problems a few years back, so I would say Acura and Mitsui are neck and neck..
