Kentucky was admitted as a state (to be formally admitted as the 15th state on 1 Jun 1792) followed on 18 Feb 1792 by Vermont which was as the 14th state.
KYCO is a timeline of Kentucky counties noting when each was formed either as part of Virginia or after the Commonweath of Kentucky was formed as well as showing the origin of each county (i.e., from what older county or counties the newer county was formed.
For example, Hardin County is the 15th to be formed and was formed in 1793 while Green County is the 16th and it was formed in 1792.

Ray, the owner of the property, said he remembers seeing many dead chestnuts in that part of the county in the 1950s and that many of them were used for fencing, kindling, fence posts, etc. The live chestnuts are competing mainly with sourwood, red maple, american beech, and white oak.
On a wooded ridge in Williamson County Tennessee, Lou and Charles observed a fruiting chestnut in October, 2002.
On a wooded south-facing slope in Metcalfe County, Ky., I observed an American chestnut tree that grew to 38 feet in height and had a dbh of six inches.
