 RedAndWhiteOnline.com - 37 - Adam Goodes
Adam Goodes was taken at no 43 in the 1997 National Draft, after starring at CHF in the 1997 TAC Cup Grand Final.
However, for the next three years, Adam wore the label of "unfulfilled potential": there was no doubting his athleticism, enthusiasm, nor his oft freakish skills, but he struggled for consistency.
Fortunately, the appointment of Paul Roos in 2002 signalled a turning point in Adam's career, and during the second half of 2002 he stormed home to take out third place in the club B&F. Even so, it would have taken a brave man to predict what was to come in 2003.
