One should note that in the comics, Lady Deathstrike's claws are adamantium-laced, like Wolverine's but as cybernetic extentions of the fingers, and that her father is the man who developed the adamantium-bonding process.

 Neverwinter Nights: Mithral and Adamantium
Adamantium is the stuff in Marvel comics (famous by Wolverine).
Adamantium golems are stronger and harder to kill than mithral golems, but a mithral golem is *very* fast - and hence can be much more dangerous.
Well, I believe Adamantium in DandD was taken from the greek mythology (among other things in DandD) and perhaps changed to fit the needs of WotC.

Hulk and Adamantium.... - HulkMovie.com Message Boards
Adamantium was invented just prior to AVENGERS #66, and Cap's been carrying that shield around since CAPTAIN AMERICA COMICS #2 -- decades earlier.
Adamantium is stronger, and you can't break cap's sield unless you f*ck with the molecular structure.
I hope they introduce Adamantium in the next movie...to my knowledge, this is perhaps THE only substance in the MARVEL universe that could restrain the Hulk (I COULD be wrong though)...Anyway, feel free to comment...

 Adamantium // Bands // Lambgoat
BIOGRAPHICAL DATA: Formed in 1996, the band Adamantium drew its name from the indestructible metal that lined the skeleton of Marvel Comics' X-man, Wolverine (AKA Logan).
Adamantium's follow-up album, "When It Rains, It Pours," would show the band's growth musically, as well as establishing the unit as one of hardcore's promising young acts.
Adamantium's first full-length, "From the Depths of Depression," would display its ability to combine metal-tinged hardcore with groove-oriented rhythms and emotion.

 Light Saber Vs. Adamantium
Yeah, since Adamantium can be heated or manipulated enough to be formed into a liquid state in order to put it into the bone structure of a person, it can be cut with a beam of energy (ie, lightsaber).
Even if adamantium was truly indestructible, it would be harder to handle, because the lightsaber's speed is unreal.
This is at least stated in the second movie (I dont read the comics) as that is why it is still boiling years after it was used on wolverine.

Thottbot World of Warcraft: Ornate Adamantium Breastplate
Adamantium is best known now from the Marvel Comics character Wolverine, but originally "Adamantine" meant "unbreakable".
Most likely derived from 'adamantium', a rare metal, some claim to have it or have seen items fashioned of it in real life.
It's also the material from which Wolverine's (from X-Men) skeleton and claws are made of, which gives him superhuman regeneration capabilities.

EN World - Morrus' D&D / d20 News & Reviews Site - Adamantium myths (need help)
What I know about Adamantium comes from Marvel Comics.
In the Marvel Universe, powerful magic and alien super-technology can produce materials of hardness comparable to Adamantium, such as Uru (the material from which Thor's hammer is made, possibly stronger than Adamantium) and the material of the Silver Surfer's board (created with the Power Cosmic by Galactus himself).
Unfortunately, there was a mishap during the experiment and the exact process by which the Adamantium+ was formed is unknown.

On the other hadn Wolverine has an almost indestructable skeleton and claws because of the Adamantium.
So I think adamantium could probably be cut by a lightsaber, but only if the wielder were strong enough to push it through, which might not be so likely.

Bullseye (comics) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It was not necessary for Bullseye to have a mutant healing factor to receive his adamantium as only a very small fraction of his bones have been entirely replaced and the rest of his skeleton is merely fortified with strips of the metal which does not interfere with his skeleton's ability to create blood cells.
In one of the more famous deaths in comics history, the two villains battled it out, and Bullseye impaled Elektra on her own sai.
Bullseye soon made the best of the situation: within seven hours of being informed of their poverty, he had led the Contras in seizing a landing strip that the Colombian cocaine smugglers were using as a staging area before moving on to the United States.

Apocalypse was once planned to be the mastermind behind the Weapon X project that gave Wolverine his adamantium skeleton.
Later, Apocalypse infected Cyclops' son Nathan with a "techno-organic virus" derived from the alien technology that gave him his powers; as a result, Nathan was sent to the future for a cure, where he became the time-traveling mutant warrior known as Cable.
A little known fact is that Apocalypse was created as a last minute replacement for the Owl, a Daredevil villain who original X-Factor writer Bob Layton wanted to use as X-Factor's main villain.

 WolverinesRevenge
Wolverine's famous mutant abilities such as his super-healing factor, enhanced senses, and berserker rage were also accurately portrayed in the game, right along side the X-Man's trademarked indestructible Adamantium claws and skeleton.
As an X-Men game, Wolverine's Revenge does an accurate job of not only portraying the main characters littered throughout the game, it also keeps the X-Men/Mythos and storylines intact (the Weapon X subplot and the addition of the little known villain character Wendigo are two examples of this).
I'm talking about the Mutant powered superhero underdogs of the Marvel Comics' Universe, The Uncanny X-men.
