| | Parco dell'Adamello - Official Site |
 | | It extends for 51.000 hectares (510 Kmq), from the Tonale Pass to that of Crocedomini; to east, its territory ends where Lombardia Region borders Trentino Region; westwards, its boundary is formed by the upper left side of the Oglio, the fifth longest italian river. |
 | | The Adamello Group, place of the largest glacier in Italy (a surface of about 18km2 according to current calculations), offers an aureole conformation, therefore from the central glaciers of the culminating plateau start mountainous crests and chains which, in their turn, are integrated in the subgroups of the Baitone, Frisozzo and Blumone. |
 | | For an excursion in the high mountain territories, it is useful to be prepared with heavy clothes in case of unexpected bad weather (heavy boots, woolen pullover, topographical map and compass). |
