The US officials were also scheduled to meet church leaders, visit an HIV voluntary testing clinic in Addis Ababa and talk of officials of the national anti-AIDS council, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and non-governmental organisations.
Chow's one-day trip is part of a tour which has already taken him to Namibia, South Africa, Uganda and Kenya, studying national programs to check mother-to-child transmission of AIDS and private sector initiatives to combat the spread of HIV.
