	Life of Sage Patanjali
		In one of the legends, it is said that Lord Vishnu was seated on Adishesha, the Lord of serpents as His couch, watching the enchanting dance of Lord Shiva.
		Adishesha then began to meditate to ascertain who would be his mother on earth.
		Accordingly, Adishesha was born as a human being, as Patanjali, and went to the forest of Tillai.

		Adishesha went round the mountain and constricted it tight and defied Vayu to release the mountain from his grip.

		As Vishnu was resting with his consort Lakshmi, Adishesha, the divine serpent, was guarding the doorway and refused him entry.
		So the serpent loosened his hold and was immediately blown away, with the hill, to the region north of the Swarnamukhi river.
