  Beer Adjuncts: The Brewers' Handbook
Although adjuncts are used mainly because they provide extract at a lower cost (a cheaper form of carbohydrate) than is available from malted barley and because they are readily available, other definite advantages are also achieved.
Adjuncts are used for color adjustment, as in the case with dark sugars.
Some adjuncts are used for their chemical properties; e.g., raw barley and wheat, which contribute glyco-proteins to enhance foam stability (24).

  Beer -
Beer is one of the oldest beverages humans have produced, dating back to at least the 5th millennium BC and recorded in the written history of Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia.
On average, beer's alcohol content is between 4% and 6% alcohol by volume, although it can be as low as 2% and as high as 14% under ordinary circumstances and several brewers claim to make beers that are upwards of 20%.
All beers before the cultivation of yeast in the 19th century were closer to this style, characterised by their sour flavours.

Beer can be made with only barley malt, hops, yeast and water, as it still is in most of Germany and is the case with most microbreweries.
Finally the freshly fermented beer is subjected to storage (in the case of a bottom-fermented, or lager, beer this is called lagering) to mature flavor and colloidal stability.
If a starchy adjunct is used, water is added to it and a small portion of the malt in the adjunct cooker and the mixture is heated rapidly to boiling.

 Rich's Beer Glossary
When CO is dissolved into beer, either as part of the fermentation process or by forced pumping, it is called carbonation, and results in the "head" of foam that is characteristic of a well-poured brew.
Frequently beer is racked into a secondary fermentation vessel before clarifying, so the beer is not in long-term contact with its trub.
Though trub in beer is considered harmless for periods of two weeks or less, beer can develop off flavors if the beer's living yeast, when starved for nourishment, begins to consume the trub.

Early in 1990, Andy Frahm and Roger Glaser decided to brew an adjunct beer and settled on a maple stout.
Bill was told not to worry, the beer was still salvageable and the time to cool the wort and pitch the yeast had come.
As we siphoned the beer through an ice bath into the fermenter, we soon learned that the copper wort cooler had been the recent home of an earwig.

Beer can be defined as a low-alcohol beverage produced from the fermentation of sugars and starch from malted grain and water.
The beer is then aged for a period of time varying from one week to three months.
The cost differential between an all-malt beer and an "adjunct" beer is minor and is not a significant consideration at the brewpub production level.

When the level of beer reaches the lip of the bottle, the wand is removed and, due to the displacement volume of the wand, the level of beer in the neck of the bottle drops to the ideal level.
A common practice is to bulk-prime the beer inside the bottling-bucket, instead of priming individual bottles; this is done by adding the proper amount of sugar water to the bucket and carefully stirring so as to minimize aeration.
It is generally held that hot-break is most definitely bad for beer and should be removed; there is some debate whether all cold break should be removed, because it is a source of nutrition for yeast and does not appear to be as detrimental to beer as hot-break.

Because strong beers finish at higher FGs, diluted beers end up at the FG they would have obtained had they been brewed at their virtual OG using normal brewing procedures.
Beer diluted this way is ready to serve since both the beer and water are carbonated before you blend them.
Conversely, if you are diluting fresh beer for a big party in which you expect all the beer to be consumed, you can attempt to maximize your amount of beer as it takes awhile for staling products to develop.

According to beer historian Alan Eames, a marijuana beer was brewed in the late 1960s by a couple of underground homebrewers who operated out of an airplane hangar on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.
The beer itself was described as a "pretty dry barleywine, but with good residual sugars." After a tenday fermentation, the cannabis blossoms were added directly to the beer, where they remained for two weeks.
