Adolf Karlovich Etolin (born Arvid Adolf Etholén January 9, 1799 in Helsinki, Finland, died March 29, 1876 in Elimäki, Finland).
Etolin was part of a group that surveyed the Bering Sea in 1822 to 1824.
An island in Alaska, Etolin Island, is named after Etolin, as are a cape, a point, and a mountain.
