May 7 2005, 01:40 AM Using Adrafinil and/or Modafinil from time to time, I have been able to be quite remarkably sharp/focused/alert for a maximum of 22 hours, then I just HAVE to sleep.
Remember that Modafinil and Adrafinil is used medically to alleviate narcolepsy, which is a condition characterised by excessive sleepiness, and for which caffeine just ain't gonna do it.
Oct 2 2005, 04:05 PM i did 48 hours with adrafinil and caffiene, as well as, ephedrine and heat stack...but it was fuckin retarted....i think in the end ephedrine was a bad idea.

Adrafinil is a precusor to the active ingredient in Provigil, modafinil.
The only problem with adrafinil, is longterm use may elevate your liver enzymes.
I didn't see much potential for abuse with Adrafinil (probably the same for Provigil, which I have not taken), and I am a recovering drug addict.

Think I will stop Adrafinil altogether when my order comes in.
Adrafinil had a light normalizing effect on me (a slight energy boost mental & physical), but no problems.

I have been taking 1200 mg of adrafinil a day for two month, along with 50 mg of Deprenyl (a dopamine agonist used to treat Parkinson’s disease), and I have never felt better in my life.
I am astonished frankly, and keep waiting for it to stop working, the way all other meds have either stopped working, worked for a while then became problematic in some other way, or simply didn’t work at all.
Although I have to have adrafinil shipped from Europe, it is still one third the cost of the equivalent dose of Provigil, which I find a typical irony in this country.

Turns out i was pretty lucky to have been able to import it, as adrafinil and modafinil have just been added to the Australian drugs and poisons schedule (schedule 4).
Fortunately i was able to convince my psychiatrist to write me a prescription for modafinil (which is available in Australia, adrafinil isn't), so i will be trying to switch to that shortly.
Their top ten for depression is pretty impressive, mostly antidepressants as one would expect, but number one is CBT (a form of psychotherapy considered just as powerful as antidepressants), and number two is a eugregoric...

Nuerofeedback seems to be used for relaxation purposes mostly but I suppose inducing higher frequency brain waves could lead to increased concetration, focus, and increased higher level cognitive functions.
I advise you purchase at least 4 packs because you really do not feel the full effects of adrafinil until you have been taking it for about 3 weeks.
They are expensive on some items (such as the ones rizzer has), but for the adrafinil and FAS Hydergine, I can't find a better deal or service.

I actually have some degree of concern over long-term use of *that* because of the increase in extra-cellular glutamate.
As for adrafinil, I can't imagine France's pharmaceutical approval agency could be *too* lax in putting their oficial stamp of approval on a medication.
But you do have to wonder why there seem to be so few adrafinil human studies.
