		Later versions of the show featured different variations on the supernatural theme of the show, and include additional characters, such as Scooby's cousin Scooby-Dum and his nephew Scrappy-Doo, in addition to or instead of some of the original characters.
		Scooby and Shaggy always the ones in the back of the van, although it has been suggested that the two are busy eating.
		In an episode of Johnny Bravo featuring the Scooby gang, this aspect is parodied as well in a wink and a smile that Fred gives to the fourth wall after catching Daphne at the foot of a flight of stairs.
