 Crossovers: The DC Cartoon Universe and "Static Shock"
This might be because while the Teen Titans are part of the DC universe, the Teen Titan cartoon is tied into the DC cartoon universe in a sort of weird way making crossovers problematic.
Static Shock has made it a habit of doing a big DC universe crossover each season.
Following Batman and Robin, Static Shock ended up having adventures featuring The Justice League, Superman, Green Lantern and even a time travel adventure where he got to meet up with Batman Beyond's future Batman.

A few years later, DC Comics had successfully revived The Flash in a new incarnation, with the name and powers being used by an entirely new character, and it was decided that Green Lantern would be similarly revived.
Toward the end of his Golden Age adventures, he was even reduced to the role of a sidekick to Streak the Wonder Dog, a heroic canidae cut from the mold of Rin-Tin-Tin and Lassie.

The beings Krona is observing are ( left) the physical manifestation of Eternity in the Marvel Universe (first appeared in Strange Tales (1st series) #138) and ( right) the physical manifestation of Kismet in the DC Universe (first appeared in Adventures of Superman #494).
Krona was also instrumental in setting up events for the Crisis on Infinite Earths, which prominently featured the hand surrounding the universe- a homage to how the DC Universe was created, first shown in Green Lantern (2nd series) #40.

In order to ensure the character's existence in the new DC Universe, Power Girl was retconned into the heir of Lord Arion of Atlantis (a character who had a short lived title in the Eighties).
Unfortunately, DC Comics decided that in this new DC Universe many of the characters who were first published in the Golden Age (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, and so on) would not officially start their careers until the Seventies or Eighties.

All of the 30th century adventures were wiped out, as were any which related strictly to the Pocket Universe and thus did not impact the mainline DC Universe.
In the post-Crisis, preboot continuity, it was revealed that most if not all pre-Crisis occurrences of time travel in the Legion’s past had been redirected by the Time Trapper to go to the Pocket Universe instead of the “real” DC Universe.
The time travel event can be completely excised from the post-Zero Hour universe as non-necessary, and should be ignored when dealing with postboot Legion continuity.

After two seasons, the show mutated into Justice League Unlimited, with a new 30 minute time span and the concept that every hero in the DC universe was now potentially a member of the Justice League.

McCullar: Well, the concept of my Thrill Seeker Comics Universe is to take archetypes from nearly 60 years of history of comics and combine them with other fascinating characters from films, television, novels and some other ideas floating around my head and amalgamate them into something new.
