Aegean seems to be trying to promote its e-ticketing facility, but maybe they are not yet fully set up to deliver a complete level of service.
I'll fly in December with Aegean to Germany and I've purchased an e-ticket.
I recently flew with Aegean Airlines Avro RJ100 from Thessaloniki to Athens.I was very impressed by the staff,the meal in the Business class and the spacious room of the cabin.I also liked the fact that there was no delay in the flight.I would choose Aegean for my next travel.

The history of Aegean Airlines begun in 1987 as the brothers Antonios and Nikolaos Simigdalas established the firm Aegean Aviation.
The airline began operation with the receipt of their License from the HCAA (Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority) on February 17th, 1992 and was back then the first privately founded Airline in Greece.
In March 2001, the two biggest privately owned Airlines in Greece, Aegean and Cronus, decide to combinded forces and to found an alliance; Aegean flew mainly domestic Routes and Cronus served the European Routes on schedule and charter flights with their 737 equipment.

Aegean have since absorbed fellow startup Cronus Airlines, and are the principal competitor to Olympic on domestic routes.
I've heard that Aegean is better and more reliable than Olympic, and when I did a Travelocity search it only returned Olympic, not Aegean, hence my trip to their Web site.
