The Aerfer Leone ( Italian : lion) was a fighter designed in Italy in the late 1950s.
It was a final attempt to develop the Aerfer Sagittario 2 into a workable aircraft.
Like other European fighter prototypes of the era, it was planned to use a rocket engine to provide additional thrust, just as its predecessor, the Ariete had used a secondary turbojet.

Aerfer aircrafts - can not find any good info on these, but what I have found indicates that these are very small aircrafts with low-power engines.
Aerfer Ariete is a development of that, designed for the Nato project for the tactical fighter (the winner was the Fiat G-91R).
Aerfer Leone was a development of this Ariete, but was only a project.
