Aerial Photography can be classified into two general types: Oblique Aerial Photography and Vertical Aerial Photography.
Oblique Aerial Photography is taken from an angled perspective; lower-angled photographs can encompass the horizon, if desired, and are considered by some of AAP's clients to be more aesthetically pleasing.
Vertical Aerial Photography is taken from a vertical perspective, preferably using a large-format (i.e., mapping-quality) camera system that is mounted into the bottom of the aircraft with specialized vibration- and movement-dampening equipment.
