		Aero Fighters was a strictly alright game, with good music, graphics, and gameplay, but nothing special.
		Aero Fighters 2 improves immensely on the original, proving to be much better in every aspect.
		Aero Fighters 2 is a shmup just barely nicking the 'great' area, and although it has it's flaws, they aren't enough to detract much from the enjoyability of the game in general.

		The progression of the Street Fighter 2 instalments saw a period of stagnant innovation sooner forgotten, and the recent appearance of KOF99 reminds us that the Video Games industry is yet to mature beyond this prequel-dependant stage.
		The music picks up as in Aero Fighters 2 when the arch-enemies are encountered, but rather than just being enjoyable at these focal points in the levels, SNK has managed to include a good selection of modern dance tracks that entertain less periodically than before.
		The decision in Aero Fighters 2 to return the user to the level beginning should they opt to continue, is out of sync with the remainder of the game- where they are otherwise allowed to continue from the point of their demise- and is also included in this version.
