Aerosucre Colombia is an airline based in Barranquilla, Colombia.
It was established and started operations in 1969 and operates domestic and international cargo scheduled flights and passenger charters within the Americas.

Currently Aerosucre flyes with a fleet composed by two Sud Aviation SE210 Caravelles and four Boeing B727, one of these is HK-1717 a B 727-21 which first flew on 29th December 1965 beeing built as serial number 18993 for Pan American.
Following services with the US carrier on 9th October 1974 it has been aquired by the Colombian national carrier Avainca where it received the current registration HK-1717 and name "Herbert Roy" which was later on changed to "Coronel Boy".
On 23rd April 1992 this 27 year old airliner has been taken over by its actual owner Aerosucre who convetred the originally built passenger liner to a pure freighter.

The last Herald to fly with Channel Express, G-BEYF was retired in April 1999 as it would prove uneconomical to keep her flying.

 Bogata Travelogue, AEROSUCRE -- a fishy tale
I had gone ahead in the morning to confirm that a cargo plane would arrive from Bogota at about 3 pm and will head back after 1 hour in Leticia.
But the agents at AEROSUCRE said I have to speak to senhor pilotos again for confirmation.
So we arrived at 2pm with our bags again to the airport, hoping that we will make it out of leticia this time.

Also you might just be able to get a seat on a cargo plane with Aerosucre.
But what I would look into in terms of price/speed compromise would be to bus from MAO to Boa Vista to Caracas and fly to BOG from there.
Aerorepublica, Avianca and Aerosucre DO fly between Leticia and BOG.
