	Manifold - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The transition map T, and all the others, are differentiable on (0, 1); therefore, with this atlas the circle is a differentiable manifold.
		A coordinate map, a coordinate chart, or simply a chart, of a manifold is an invertible map between a subset of the manifold and a simple space such that both the map and its inverse preserve the desired structure.
		As the transition map is a smooth function, this atlas defines a smooth manifold.
