Over the course of the past 90 years a litany of the best and brightest African American personages have written for the Amsterdam News.

Tatum's tenure is destined to see the Amsterdam News operate in a communications world that involves the new technologies of cyberspace, far removed from Mrs.

But The Interpreter is a rare example of filmmaking at its most professional, and most effective; take, for example, the film's centerpiece sequence, in which three cat-and-mouse chases converge, explosively, on a city bus.

Kwanzaa is packaged for mass American consumption as a cultural and ethnic rite, and yet carries presuppositions which stand as a religious challenger to Christianity and Judaism, two religious traditions birthed and nurtured in Africa, because they include too many white people.
