		After their last CD, which I liked but wasn't thrilled with, I thought they were going to get more brutal.
		I expected them to grow into brutal heavy music the likes of DKL, KSE, Full Blown Chaos, or Hatebreed, not to regress into a sophomoric "we just became a band" sound.
		Every song sounds the same and the band have lost the small amount of dynamic they had with "Bless the Matyr..." There is zero melody also, in the riffs and vocals.

		Like a scene out of Carrie I envisioned the whole class being trapped in the shop, while the avenging forces of the forest fed my classmates into the bandsaws, lathes and beltsanders in a frenzy of blood, while we plead pitifully for our lives.
		This might all sound terribly irrelevant and ridiculous, if it were not for the fact that Norma Jean sounds remarkably similar to a horrific woodshop massacre.
		Oh God the Aftermath piles on plenty of intense fury and the urgency of holy indignation, with occasional breakouts of melodic vocals as heard on “Liarsenic” which is a welcome respite.

		This social climate, plus musicians who became the collective conscience of this generation through their lyrics and music became the foundation of ending a barbaric and unjust war, which the government tried to sweep under the rug by to calling it a 'conflict' or a 'police action'.
		So in essence, the music and the message was born generally because of the knowledge that war was not a solution to world problems, but specifically because of Vietnam and the thought of dying for a cause that could not be in any form, matter, or substance, be justified.
		I first became smitten by the music and the message while I was stationed in the Presidio of San Francisco in the late sixties ('68 to be exact) while waiting to find out if the next levy would have my orders for Vietnam.
