Agha Muhammad Yahya Khan (Urdu: آغا محمد یحیی خان) (February 4, 1917 – August 10, 1980) was the President of Pakistan and Chief of Army Staff from 1969 to 1971, following the resignation of Ayub Khan.
Yahya Khan was born in Chakwal in 1917 to a family of Qizilbash Persian speaking soldiers.
Yahya Khan died in August 1980, in Rawalpindi.
