Quirino is a province of the Philippines located in the Cagayan Valley region in Luzon.
Its capital is Cabarroguis and was named after Elpidio Quirino, the sixth President of the Philippines.
Quirino used to be part of the province of Nueva Vizcaya, until it was separated in 1966.

AGLIPAY, Quirino - Starting January 25, a team from the Regional Consular Office of the Department of Foreign Affairs will conduct passport services in Quirino Province, according to a statement from the office of DFA Secretary Blas Ople.
It said DFA would send a team from January 25 to 26 to process passport applications for the people of the Province of Quirino, composed of the municipalities of Diffun, Cabarroguis, Saguday, Aglipay, Natipunan and Maddela.
The undertaking, a first since the establishment of a DFA consular office in the Cagayan region in 1991, is to be held in cooperation with Quirino Gov. Governor Pedro Bacani, which will host the authorized personnel of RCO-Tuguegarao City led by officer-in-charge Romulo Victor Israel Jr.
