In order to bring about substantial improvement in the standards of teaching/learning of English, the Government is giving assistance through the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (CIEFL), Hyderabad for the setting up of at least one district centre for English language in each State.
The Kendriya Hindi Shikshan Mandal, Agra is an autonomous Institution established by the Government of India, under overall control of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (Department of Education).
The Mandal runs `Kendriya Hindi Sansthan` under its aegis, with its Headquarters at Agra and Centres at Delhi, Hyderabad, Mysore, Guwahati and Shillong.

 Edmond Taylor Heuston of Agra, Oklahoma
In Lincoln County, Edmond was a member of the school board and township committee and was Justice of the Peace before being elected to the Constitutional Convention of Oklahoma from Agra, District 21.
Edmond died June 24, 1915 and buried with Helen, who died in 1940, in the Flynn Cemetery northeast of Agra.
He and his wife, Helen, lived in Nebraska until 1893 when they moved to Lincoln Co., Oklahoma settling near Agra about 8 miles southwest of Cushing.
