	Agustín Stahl - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Stahl studied medicine at the universities of Wartburg and Prague, where he graduated with the title of Doctor in Medicine in 1864.
		After graduation Dr. Stahl returned to Puerto Rico where he set up his own medical practice in the city of Bayamón; however, outside work his love of nature lead him to conduct investigations and experiments in the fields of ethnology, botany, and zoology.
		Stahl was a believer that Puerto Rico should have independence from Spain and was a member of the Puerto Rican Autonomist Party.
