Ahmad Jannati (born in Esfahan in 1926) (Persian: احمد جنتی‎ ​) is an Iranian ayatollah and political figure.
Jannati is considered close to the Iranian Islamic conservatives, and is heavily criticized by the reformists for his active role in not approving reformist candidates to run in various elections and blocking their legislation.
Ayatollah Jannati was one of the founders of Haghani School, one of the most influential religious school in Iran.

Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati in his second sermon criticized those calling for negotiations with the US and said that Ramsey Clark, former US Attorney General, had recently established an international anti-war center and had visits to many countries to divulge the US crimes.
Jannati further quoted Clark as saying in the interview that the Vietnamese were punished by the US merely due their call for freedom and their nation's self determination right.
