Okayama doesn`t really get slammed by the typhoons the way other prefectures might because we are protected by the Seto Naikai (inland sea) between Shikoku (one of Japan`s 4 major islands) and Okayama-ken.
During dinner, we watched a quiz show that was awesome - I even could guess a few of the answers although mostly the ones where you have to guess a kanji character from its individual strokes.
Today, I left Tokyo for Okayama City, which is the capital city of Okayama Prefecture.
