He was also criticised for appointing attractive 22-year-old Ainsley Gotto as his Principal Private Secretary.
Ainsley Gotto Carson, now a successful entrepreneur, not only arranged Sir John's 90th birthday party in Sydney last year, but is also making arrangements for his state memorial service to be held at St Andrew's Anglican Cathedral in Sydney, next Friday, May 31.
