Air Botnia started a fleet renewal in March 2001 with the first of five Saab 2000 twins replacing the Saab 340s.
A fully owned subsidiary of SAS, Air Botnia effectively brings Finland into the SAS heartlands providing what are effectively feeder services for SAS international flights from Arlanda airport in Stockholm.
All Air Botnia flights are code-shared with SAS.

Air Botnia now flies five times daily to Helsinki - Copenhagen Airports

SAS’s subsidiary Air Botnia, which will change name to Blue1 from 1 January 2004, has more than doubled flights between Copenhagen and Helsinki in the new winter program.
At the same time SAS has chosen to reduce number of flight, thus the total number of daily departures served by the two airlines will remain on 10-12 daily departures, depending on what day of the week you fly.
In addition to Helsinki, Air Botnia also serves Tampere and Turku in Finland, from Copenhagen.

I arrived at the airport on March 28th for a morning flight to Stockholm with Air Botnia less than an hour early.
Turku airport is small, pretty much all the flights that leave are Air Botnia's flights to Stockholm and Copenhagen and Finnair's flights to Helsinki.
The Air Botnia flight to Turku, Finland, boarded, and there didn't seem to be anybody at the gate when it did.

It seems Air Botnia is a partner of SK but not LH.
Just a small heads up, Air Botnia was renamed to Blue 1 (www.blue1.com) last November (if memory serves me right).

Finnish airline Air Botnia, a subsidiary of the Scandinavian airline SAS, said on Monday (29 September) that it was changing its name to Blue1 as part of its renewal programme.
The name change, and also new logo and graphic design to give a new look for the aircraft, would be in effect from 1 January 2004, according to the airline.
Air Botnia said that it would also start a new flight route to Geneva in Switzerland on 6 October 2003.
